1. Cut down on beer
One bottle of beer equals the kilojoule value of approximately seven slices of bread. If you drank a whole six-pack of beers, you would have polished off just over two loaves of bread.
2. Control the portions
Use a smaller plate. Use measuring cups. Be selective with your seconds. Check the food labels. Ask for a Half Portion when eating out.
3. Buy a scale. Pick a goal weight.
4. Move your body.
Get on the treadmill. Push yourself to higher levels
5. Make some friends at the gym.
Be among like-minded people.
6. Watch the sugar.
And stay away from the fruit juices!
